John & Peter's team kicked off at home to new opposition in Blantyre on Saturday although they did play against them for a half each at the tournament the previous week. With all their players again available Wishaw were soon on the attack and Mark Walker was first to come close with a shot which skimmed the bar. The boys were creating a lot of half chances but the ball was just not dropping their way. The breakthrough came when John Paul Cahill showed persistence and was first to react when his first effort was blocked stabbing the rebound high into the net. There followed further chances, Nathan Murray was unlucky to see his shot deflected wide and Jake Glancy was also denied when the Blantyre keeper dived bravely at his feet.

John & Peter's team kicked off positively on a bitterly cold morning looking to take the game to their opponents and carry on their excellent play from the previous week. The boys were rewarded for their positive start and took the lead from a corner. Nathan Murray crossed the ball and Jake Glancy scored with a clever flick from his heel to put the team one up. Wishaw kept up the pressure and were unlucky not to double their advantage shortly after. Jake Kane applied some good pressure to win possession back high up the pitch and from the resultant cross Nathan Murray was unlucky to see his curling effort hit the bar with the keeper well beaten. Moorlands were still a threat however and Joe Vaughan was on his toes to make a fine save following a break through the middle from the Moorlands striker. Wishaw kept up the pressure and were unlucky again when following a Mark Walker cross Nathan Murray saw another fine effort denied by the crossbar. Less than a minute later the team got their 2nd goal, a great first time pass from Chris Reid found Jake Glancy unmarked in the area and he got his 2nd goal of the game. Wishaw finished the half as they started and added a 3rd, this time Nathan Murray was the provider for Jake Glancy to get a first half hat trick.
John & Peter's team started on the offensive straight from the kick off and soon took the lead, a good move down the right wing leading to Nathan Murray finishing with a good low finish. Wishaw continued their attacking football with the opposition keeper saving well and following that with another effort just clearing the bar. A 2nd goal soon followed, another good move this time involving John Paul Cahill and Reece Connolly led to Reece feeding Chris Reid who slotted home.
